Darren Chaker - Destroy DNA Upon Dismissal

Darren Chaker notes that not every person arrested is convicted. In San Diego alone, the District Attorney dismisses about 900 cases a year. The Los Angeles County District Attorney has taken the lead to allow people who have been arrested, but not convicted to have the court order destruction from the searchable DNA database by providing a detailed procedure law enforcement is to follow when noticed with a petition to destroy DNA.
